According to the instructions of the Central Bank of Bahrain, SWIFT messages for all customer payments coming to/made from the Bahrain Branch must include the purpose codes in the list, indicating the nature of the payment.

If the relevant code is not included in the SWIFT message, the payment may be rejected due to non-compliance with the country's legislation or there may be a delay in correcting the non-compliance with the legislation and commissions and expenses related to the corrections may occur.
